To give you all a very quick wedding update of the day of chaos, it's done. Over with. Bittersweet. Whew! After a year and a half of planning, I can finally say that all my hard work totally paid off and we are FINALLY married!
Before we get to the chaos, enjoy this picture of our reception venue before the party started. If you've been following my blog, you'll know that I went the easy and cheap way. Yes - it's possible to have a fun wedding on a budget! :)
Our day was perfect but there were a few minor mishaps that led up to it all. So let's get to the chaos...
For starters, I cut my left ring finger two days before with scissors. Now, when I say cut, I mean my parents tried to talk me into going and getting a few stitches but I refused. I couldn't get my rings on my finger (sorry if this grosses you out) without getting them caught on the big flap of skin! It was terrible. We tried super glue, band-aids and lots of Neosporin. Thankfully, Monday came along and I was able to very carefully twist my rings on. I told Jordan that when the time came to just push the ring to my knuckle and I would do the rest.
Next, my sister-in-law and I went and got spray tans a few days before but totally forgot to wear anything on our feet. Yes - our feet were bright orange! Thankfully there weren't any pictures showing the bottom of our feet.
Lastly, I forgot my Mom and Mother-in-Law's gifts so my sister-in-law/superwoman ran to my house to grab them only to later find out my sister and Maid of Honor forgot her bridesmaids dress! Thank the good lord for cousins because my cousin Tyler saved the day there. AH! Our pictures were a little pushed but it's nothing our photographer couldn't handle. (Thanks for being awesome Kelsey!) Lot's of superhero's at my wedding!
Besides all of that, the day went without a hitch thanks to my amazing Aunt Lisa who played the big role of the day of coordinator! Having her around made the day so easy and fun. I didn't have to worry about anything! :)

More inside wedding stuff and pictures soon to come.
Until then, thank you to everyone for the kind words and well wishes!
